Pros

Many good people outside of management work there. I learned a lot while I worked there. My pay and benefits were pretty good.

Cons

The companies first money saving tactic is to lay people off. They let good talented people go all of the time. This is the first company I have ever worked for the that placed so little value on the knowledge and skills of there people. They are currently at the front end of a 6,000 person RIF that will last into 2025. This is just one of many layoffs they have done over the years. So think twice if you value job security. The Ogden plant is struggling because they have let go so much of there talent and knowledge base they have gone backwards in quality and efficiency. For the good hard working people that are left I hope management figures out the value of people. Also the HR department is slow to get any request complete. Most of the time I had to make requests many times and wait for weeks or even months.

Pros

-People think its a PRODUCT BASED COMPANY-indeed it is but not GTSC division. -Product based company type job security but still there the company behaves as if they are at huge loss.

Cons

-have a huge list but what affected to me most was their view towards an employee. -i joined as with lot of hope that i will transform and learn more about product based knowledge, but in reality GTSC is just a global dustbin where people are doing junk work like dwg updation and simple modifications and fooling their own other Autoliv divisions by overcharging for simple tasks. -I wish that nobody shud go through what nightmare I had in this company since I was in beautiful projects in my previous company but when i ended up in Autoliv as Sr. design engg I thought I will learn more about product development but to my horror its just another service based organization fooling Indians that it is a tier one product based company. -this company you are only a headcount nothing more all their professional attitude and code of conduct and work ethics is bogus and fake. -mind you they address you as resource and managers openly say lets use this guy today lets that guy tmrw and moreover you are never in one project - whichever task comes u need to do it u have no choice over what u want to do.
