Pros

If you like politics and bro culture, this is the place for you.

Cons

I worked in this hell because they bought our startup and had to wait for them to vest. No career path in the ACS division, we all know the sales team will get diluted and channel parters will take the jobs. That’s what Autodesk does best. Buy startups and spit out the people working in them in small increments so they never make the news. The culture is bad, as they like to talk about diversity but don’t higher them cause apparently management doesn’t know how to interview them. Fact ! Comment I got when asked. I finally quit, and the HR proved me right that this company doesn’t care. Kati, worst HR . Who kept on getting defensive when I was trying to explain my side and why I quit. Sexism and no ownership of the management. If they are not hitting their target, they will though you under the bus. If you are reading this and on the fence of quitting, do it now. It’s scary but it’s not worth your mental health.

Pros

The best thing about Autodesk are the people. There are many great, smart, and well-intentioned people who work there.

Cons

Despite lip service to the contrary, Autodesk treats its employees like expendable assets. For example, it recently fired 14% of the workforce. While posturing to care about “company culture,” it routinely makes decisions that create fragmentation and loss. Forward momentum is hampered by leaders and middle-managers who frequently change strategies, resorting to drastic corrections. I’m the big picture, Autodesk fails to deliver on its mission to “Imagine, design & create a better world.”

Autodesk Singapore far cry from Great Place to work!

Pros

Good policies in place, global company with great future prospects!

Cons

The policies in place are only for certain Geos and departments. At the end of the day if you happen to be in backend functions in Asia, you can count on it that you have found yourself in the middle of the ocean with no one to support you. Manager's attitude is all the bad cliche's you can imagine. We look at other people in the company who are in mainstream functions going home at 5;30 , but for us its only half day. HR is oblivious to all this or they turn a blind eye is anybody's guess. Every single day we work overtime without being paid any benefits for it.
