Pros

Benefits, surely. Women valued, not pushed aside. Can take occasional afternoon off to catch the kids' afterschool events, which is perhaps the best reason to continue here these days.

Cons

Low-level management can be petty. Great employees let go because didn't play kiss-up games. Have seen valued colleagues get the shaft over the years for refusing to do manager's work. Makes for a vicious work environment. When will my turn come? Hear this little ditty all the time.

Pros

Benefits are great at Autodesk. You can even bring your dog to work!

Cons

Takes forever to get anything done. There are lot of layers for approvals on the littlest items causing lots of frustrations. Not clear on the decisions made by upper management. Smar, quality people are leaving or either being let go. To many layers of Sr Management making me just a peon.

Pros

They are also the leader in the CAD across the housing, automobile and entertainment industries. The employee benefits, equipment and office space are one of the best I have seen so far.

Cons

The number layers from regular employees to the top is quite significant. Simple tasks can take a very long time to complete because of outsourcing.
