      Atos Origin, an OK company to work with

      Pros

      Atos Origin is a world wide IT partner of Olympics committee. So there are opportunities in working for the summer and winter Olympics. Typically through internal volunteering (using your own vacation hours, but the expenses are paid). It is fun. But you have to go through a big competition. Another big benefit is that they are pretty generous for H1B workers. They have sponsored most of my co-workers' H1B and GreenCard application.

      Cons

      Atos Origin is not a very well paid company. Plus since the team is fairly small, there are not much too learn or to work on. In a long run, it is not good for a service/consulting company.

      Pros

      Lean, agressive growth oriented company, wins a lot of deals, with large global backing

      Cons

      Small, promotion opportunities are limited by number of management positions, fairly flat organization. Although management is quite transparent, not always loyal to most effective employees, however employee turnover at Atos Origin is low and the team atmosphere is fairly high. Although a growth company, management does not knee jerk and change its strategy often. We are steady and that means employees know what to expect each year in the company.

      Pros: Great corporate culture (not like Accenture/IBM). Excellent freedom/independency to do your job. Several career opportunities abroad (specially Europe). Online training tools available. Global knowledge base available. In a nutshell: If you are an experienced professional (specially in SAP area) that knows how to work with almost no supervision and have an interest in working abroad, you should consider Atos...

      Cons: Lack of communication from the senior management. Average compensation/benefits. Focused on SAP/Managed Operations. Unknown/small company in the US. In a nutshell: If you're starting your career in IT, maybe you should consider other company like Accenture or IBM and add some experience in your resume...If you are in the IT market for a while, have no experience in SAP and want a better paycheck, you better go independent or move to the management field in your current company...
