Very low salary, poor conditions

Pros

home-office (depending on the project you are working on), although very limited

Cons

Very low salary and dysfunctional management. Way too many bureaucratic processes for every small thing, not agile at all and too much politics involved, useless training which is compulsory for the sake of it that is time-consuming and utter rubbish. Obsolete methodology and tools to track work. No career development, it is all subjected to despotism and favouritism, and who your drinking buddies are. Physical environment is tiring and depressive (no natural light, no natural air, terrible lighting, dust...) - "Culture and values" are non-existent, the only value is to maximise profits at all cost.

Pros

My only pro is that I managed to make a lot of friends with people from different backgrounds and cultures

Cons

I don't even know where to begin but I will make a list in no particular order: -Harassment from managers. Often verbally harassed by people with power over me both inside work and then being contacted outside of work too. Inapproprite sexual comments were made. I reported this to my Team Leader but little was done. I also reported it to HR but they simply told me that I acted too late. Was assigned to work at hours where the office was almost empty. I felt uncomfortable being alone because of what I stated previously. However, I was told that if I did not work those hours then I would be fired. A colleague also made inappropriate comments. I felt sick and had no where to go to report this. -You have to ask for permission to go to the toilet. We are not 5 year olds! -I had a serious family emergency and had to rush outside to take a call. I explained that I had an emergency and the only response was "There is a call in the queue that you need to take." -Training was terrible and provided little help with the issues that need to be resolved in calls. -Most people become Team Leader not based on merit but because of who they know -If you go on 'not ready' for more than 30 seconds, the Team Leaders come rushing to you demanding for an explanation. This means that you have many incomplete tickets open as there is no time to finish anything. -Many people were fired without explanation. People leave their lives in their home country to move to Tenerife hoping for a new experience yet a lot are fired even just a few weeks/months afterwards and are left in both an emotionally and financially difficult situation.

Pros

Nice coworkers, Nice place to live (Canarias)

Cons

The company haven't got a clue about how to run a company. They move 3rd line to a third-world country, without giving them any info on how to do their job. There's no relocation help. There's constantly internal squabbles between the different departments and countries.
