Overtime opportunities, annual pay increases, occasional bonuses, self-scheduling

Cons

Poor management, difficult getting time off, despite self-scheduling ultimately manager would have final say and sometimes would extremely undesirable schedules (ex: 3 shifts every other day night shift), work place drama not handled by management, poor nurse/tech rations to patients, if low census you are called off or sent home and they use your PTO to supplement your pay
