      Evolution has not been positive for associates

      Pros

      There is hope because many of the teams are still mission/values focused and working to change the experience for patients, their families and the communities served. There are also wonderful peers to support each other. But,

      Cons

      over the years, things have moved away from being supportive to the employee. In the past three-years, the HR team has been unable to meet the needs of the organization. The leadership team hops on the next cool fad but continues to struggle causing continuous staff restructuring and reductions in workforce. The culture is poor, the staff is overworked, stressed and now operate with a fear-based (save yourself) mindset.

      No human in Human Resources

      Pros

      Free parking. Location makes for only minor traffic when driving to and from work.

      Cons

      Unstable environment. The benefits are poor, some needed, life-saving prescriptions are not covered. Change is so frequent all staff have change fatigue. They don’t leave any program in place long enough to let it function. It’s as if the inmates are running the asylum. HR functions are all automated, there is no human touch when it comes to vital things like hiring, benefit questions and Disciplinary action.

      Pros

      They try very hard to make the work environment fun, inclusive and an all around great place to work. A lot of great work perks

      Cons

      The boys club runs that place. Woman are scarce up top. They are VERY fond of titles and the ladder and do not want you to mingle with those lower than you. They look down on you due to your associations and are quick to judge and mistreat you the higher you go. SO MUCH POLITICS!1 A lot of old school thinking at the top.
