      Pros

      -Business is very strong. It is enjoying superb growth ahead of its competitors such as Dynatrace and NewRelic. - Being part of Cisco certainly is beneficial to employees. Cisco ranked #6 on Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list. It not only provides benefits like 5 days Volunteer Day Off, generous 401k match and ESPP program, also provides all kinds of training for professional growth. The structured training cannot be matched by any startup company. - Yet AppDynamics keeps its culture of a startup, plus the Perks of drinks, snacks, massage, etc

      Cons

      - As the company tries to remain agile, its business direction can shift very quickly and frequently. Some growing pains here and there. People can get frustrated with the re-orgs, if they don't understand the why behind it. But for some, there might be opportunities in chaos.

      Pros

      It's almost an year since I have joined AppD as a new grad. I chose AppD among several other promising offers. I never regretted my decision for a sec(Oh yeah sometimes, when I gain my weight because of delicious snacks we have at AppD). Things here move quickly even after Cisco's acquisition. As a monitoring product, AppD provides huge scope to stay updated with latest technology

      1. Frequent reorgs 2. Higher management should keep more effort to retain existing employees

      Pros

      I continue to grow within AppDynamics. I am always challenged to improve myself and always given the coaching and guidance to do so. So thankful for the opportunity to work here as it has changed my career for the better.

      Cons

      AppDynamics has done a great job of offering new growth paths. They need to keep moving hard on this to offer more opportunities to grow as the company continues to grow.
