If you want to work for a company that promotes people to director level only to exact their power and control over you, well then you have to work here. Be repeatedly humiliated, micro managed, spoken down to ; so much so that you lose your confidence and it starts effecting your family life and sleep. No possibility of promotion and constant fear based approach by your director that you will lose your job. Management is primarily based in the US and quite a lot have their ex presidents 'your fired' attitude. If you have a choice - you need not apply. Im only waiting and planning my exit plan! Salary and increments are very poor unless you start at director level - the top keep the cream for themselves.

If you are joining from any service based company, this is a good place in terms of salary, perks etc. If you are joining from a semiconductor peer (like TI, Intel, Broadcom, of the likes - or even few billion $ semicon companies), it's a strong avoid. 2. The India Management is a bunch of jokers with no vision, and empty vessels. All directors are enjoying their pre-retirement days without much aggressiveness or scope for improvement. 3. Most of the projects get canned for invalid reasons. 4. India center is more of Digital focus, and you will get redeployed quite frequently. 5. Especially, there are some blood-sucking blockheaded people in certain groups like Hardware APPS, who on earth think as if they bring out the best of ADI. but that is not the truth. Please avoid joining such groups. You will slog and get stressed without a purpose. 6. If you are looking for a serious career in software, please avoid. The biggest problem is clarity in what they do and because of which you end up in a mess.
