      Pros

      American Express is a great company to work for if you are willing to work hard. Opportunities are there if you seek them out. Also, senior management can be helpful with promotions if they see that you are a hard worker, diligent and work well in a team as well as independent.

      Cons

      American Express creates specific positions. If the position is eliminated it may be hard to find another job of that caliber.

      American Express is a good place to work due to the focus on development, good teamwork, and opportunities to learn.

      Cons

      The support and recognition you receive is very much tied to who your leader is. It can be a very frustrating place if your leader does not look out for you.
