Pros

amex is a good place to start to get solid work experience and an in-depth background on database marketing. It's also a good place to cut your teeth managing people (often interns) and networking.

Cons

It can be very political. The commute into the city is not for the faint-hearted! if you're coming from the NJ suburbs or outer boroughs.

Pros

Senior Management is very open with employees. The CEO makes his way to our facility often and is always shaking hands and speaking to employees. It makes you feel valued as an employee.

Cons

I think the benefit plan could be a bit better.

Pros

Company seem to geniunely care about the customer. Employees have autonomy to achieve in a results driven culture and great flexibility provided to staff in my area;

Cons

Little opportunity for career advancement and salary increases which reflects increased responsibilities or achievements in role.As a result, highly competitive environment where being 'in' with senior management is the way to gain promotion, rather than what you deliver in terms of results, value to company.
