Pros

Professional atmosphere, good facilities, excellent attention to health and safety.

Cons

There's a lot of workplace bullying in the UK offices. I'm not a big fan of the hot desking arrangements. I preferred the old setup.

Good Company, Terrible Market

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

-Brand recognition in your CV: nice stepping stone -Decent salary and benefits -Flexible for and remote work policies (check Cons) -Solid company that has been around for almost 200 years. -Great brand values (check Cons)

Cons

-Your career path and the flexible policies depend on your leader: some people in one line of business may have flexible hours while some other people, doing a similar job, different LOB or manager, might be enslaved by their leaders or commanded to chair heating. HR is totally out of everything related to promotions, internal movements, career paths, etc. No support at all. -A lot of managers, a few workers... You know what I mean: one is working, four are watching. -Leaders do not have a clue about what they are doing. Apart from that, they usually do not get well with data and reports and do not give clear actionable feedback to their teams. You can be wrong at your decisions but at least deliver projects and guide your teams... Is not the case. -There's no product development for the market, no IT or development resources... -Self-service culture for everything, from invoicing your activities to hiring new people... You end up buried in administrative tasks. -Despite company values (standing for equity, inclusion, diversity, supporting some important causes and movements...), the office is full of intolerants and snobs that complain about these values... Honestly, don't understand how they hire but most of the people are unbearable. -Weird organization: There may be 3 directors for the same area. Some other people earn a lot of money but do nothing (and brag about it). However, hiring a new executive is like asking for a kidney......
