A Real Disappointment

Pros

Great business, helping people. Not much else to say, can't even meet 20 word minimum, so I am rambling.

Cons

Dishonest Management, tells you one thing then does the opposite. Company ran to current quarters numbers, not meeting numbers, expect layoffs to follow, very narrow sighted. No loyalty to employees, expect to be thrown under the bus for managements' mistakes. Benefits are not good. Expect long hours no reward or recognition. Products have grown long in the tooth and are falling behind, and don't expect upgrades to happen quickly with cutbacks in R&D. I expect anyone going to consider working for this company are desperate. Any positive reviews on this company are from HR. Would rate this company a quarter star if glassdoor allowed.

Pros

Flexible work schedule; worked with talented individuals; worked on products that are used to save lives.

Cons

You know the old saying “too many chiefs, not enough Indians.” Leadership team takes no responsibility for their constant mismanagement. Not quite sure why they have an HR department. They’re worthless. No communication!

Pros

Work life balance can be great (as a structures graduate however this is debatable)

Cons

Structures (Wing) engineering grad scheme is a shambles, despite sharing feedback by graduates currently leaving every few months NOTHING has been done to address the issues. Most of the management / early careers has been made aware however they continue to push back. It's a shame since Airbus is a great company to work for, however due to their budget issues most of the perks are no longer there. Their pay is outdated, you are limited to "process oriented " placements with no focus on development or progression and treated as "free labour" (given a bad placement review if you ask for development instead of contributing to the team) Honestly lots of other options in the market, and as an ex-grad myself I can say please do not waste your golden years struggling for nothing
