Unfair Treatment of Consultants by some Divisions / Managers
Pros
1. Good work environment for development work in finance on the African continent 2. Opportunities to show case experience even though it's not market relevant in the private sector 3. Good benefits package for staff 4. Excellent working conditions
Cons
1. Working as a Consultant in a Facility might not be a good idea as some Task Managers are very mean. Know of a Consultant that was constantly being humiliated by the Task Manager. 2. Unfair termination of Consultants' contract by Divisional Heads and Task Managers. 3. Poor judgement by Divisional Heads and Departmental Directors. 4. Never work for a boss that is experienced in the same field as you are as expectations management might prove very messy and your manager demanding unrealistic deliverables.
