Pros

Pay and benefits is it

Cons

Where do I start? I suppose the hiring process because had they told me the condition of the business so I clearly understood what I was getting into I would never have taken the job . Then, when I arrived at the office for my first day the office was a disorganized and a dirty mess with no working printer or computer workstations to onboard temp associates , holes in walls, and stains in carpet throughout the office. Clearly not one person put any thought around creating a good first impression for me, or thought about making sure equipment was ready and working on day 1. My first impression told me everything I needed to know, Then, I had to work with IT to figure out how to get computers connected to the printer, as well as try to get someone to figure out why the work stations didn't work. This process took weeks! This location was allowed to lose numerous clients over the last 3 years prior to my arrival and not one person seemed to know anything about the market or how to get any of the accounts back quickly to minimize the damage created by previous management. A number of former clients told me exactly why they would never work with Adecco again yet when I would share this information to my supervisor the topic would be downplayed almost as if it didn't exist. In addition I was told numerous times that it can take at least 7-8 attempts to finally talk to a potential client but then in the same week be given the impression I wasn't making progress fast enough in spite of documenting all of my activity in salesforce. I have so much more I could add but no need to as I have no plan to be here long term and will share the information with my supervisor when I leave. I do like my supervisor and understand he is under pressure to turn something around in a day that took 3 or more years to tear down.

Pros

Pros to working @ Google Access to onsite food, gym, onsite covid test, and some events. Learn a lot in a fast paced environment. Can make strong friendships and networking relationships. Pros to Adecco: They employed the most people so we got a severance after the layoffs. Health benefits are okay - Kaiser would be nice to have as an option.

Cons

Con for Google: Towards the last 6 months of my contract Google removed access for temporary employees (TVC) to access other buildings. If we needed to meet a full time employee we hired or meet coworkers from other buildings for lunch we needed to essentially have a chaperone. Con for Adecco: No holiday pay - they have a weird system where it resets every 45 days or something so basically you can only get holiday pay if you take little to no time off. I would consider this borderline wage theft.
