big company. They release a salary guide each year but won't honor those salaries when a current employee requests a salary increase that matches the guide.

I worked for the company before. I applied for another position ans though that I would get the job. I did not get the job. The Generalist that interviewed me said the associate director is interested in me and can work around what I am looking for in a salary and she told me the job responsibilities. Them when I had the interview with the associate director he told me the job as being completed different. Them I got a call and of the interview and got declined for the job and part of it has to be due to what I was asking for to make.
