Pros

This company is probably OK for warehouse workers or administrators. They seem geared to support that kind of position.

Cons

This company was not suitable as a high-tech recruiter. They do not offer the support, institutional knowledge and expertise needed to hire highly qualified professionals. Their benefits are non-existent and their recruiters told me a few things about 401(k), vacation time, and other perks that turned out to be false. I don't blame them. They were clearly not trained for the position. Additionally, one week I did not receive a paycheck and the regional manager got defensive and hostile when I complained about it.

Pros

- Just a handful of good managers, who can mentor, who care for people & prefer to stay away from office politics (Most of those have left now)

Cons

- Extremely high on Office Politics, people prefer to indulge in gossips, favoritism rather than working - Basic amenities are also low, branch offices are really small & an unco-operative Admin team - Top Management doesnt care for good employees not even top performers - No appraisals

Pros

The values and core principles of this organisation impressed me a lot. Since not many Indian companies imbibe such values in their everyday work culture. They believe in honesty and transparency between a senior and his subordinate and their clients. They believe in keeping work place politics a big hindrance to the growth of the employer, the employee as well as other stakeholders.

Cons

However, the reality seemed to be far from this in the Indian subsidiary of Adecco. My experience in one of it's offices in the capital region was far from the picture I had created when I learn't about the 'values' the company holds. With respect to that particular branch where I worked for a little over a month, I observed a lot of office politics right from the week of my joining. This eventually led to attrition as employees (especially fresh graduates) don't find the environment healthy for their start.
