Pros

Opportunity to take on new roles and responsibilities frequently Opportunity to travel Good benefits The projects and clients can be very interesting - often highly publicized roadmap projects for the client

Cons

Potential to get 'stuck' at a bad client or project (your current client/project takes precedence over any other opportunities) Experience highly dependent on your project and its management. Some management take advantage of this - to require unpaid overtime, for example. Disconnect between on-project performance and Accenture promotions/salary Potential to work a lot of hours Overtime paid only for hours above 120% - your normal salary for the first 40 hours in the week, then the next 8 would be unpaid (40-48). Any hours above 49 would be paid out.

Pros

Client Exposure & Extensive training resources available.

Cons

No work/life balance (work you to death) - you will suffer if you make work/life balance for yourself. Very unfair to technical personnel, very pro-business personnel. Good pay compared to local companies, BUT bad pay compared to other consulting firms. Not a good place to work for experienced hires whose view often can conflict with Accenture homegrowns.

Pros

Good role opportunities, you'll be able to work with clients at levels that go beyond your years of experience. Strong team attitude within Accenture team Good pay when first starting

Cons

Very fixed career progression model - difficult to move ahead of track despite continued excellent performance Pay is only moderate once beyond first year or two
