A nice company spoiled by a rotten culture in IT

AXA genuinely cares about its employees & endeavours to be a great employer.

Cons

Disfunctional IT dept stuck in a 1990’s command & control culture. Impossible to work with as a developer in the business. Aggressive & just plain nasty people sadly, expect to be patronised or ignored by your IT “partners” or even bullied if you are really unlucky. There are a lot of great people in IT doing their best as well but a significant minority make it an impossible place to work as a business developer.

- Bureaucratic - Office politics - No career advancement - Management more concerned with the team looking good than achieving things - Lower pay compared to market - Micromanagement - Impossible to receive full bonus (most get half of potential max)

Too far from London Very hard to understand what the strategy is at they change direction all the time.
