Pros

- Great benefits - Real flexibility granted you get a decent manager - Some amazing colleagues left within IT who really go above and beyond

Cons

- Management especially within IT is awful. No real direction, the rampant issues they have never truly get addressed. Most you'll get is that they are "aware" of these but then years later nothing has improved. - Brought in new CTO who offshored 100+ experienced long term IT staff to save some money. Lost a lot of knowledge and left many areas in shambles. Said CTO subsequently left as soon as this move was done... - 3rd party offshore staff remain largely clueless even after multiple months of training them to do your old job.

Pros

Good package and pension Good skill to set you up for the future

Cons

Outsourcing of IT to 3rd party was a really really really bad move. Highly skilled people left via a sneaky AXA transfer to the new provider or just quit. IT used to be an area to be proud of its not a car crash. Really can’t see it changing it’s on a downward trajectory and it’s too late to pull up and an avoid the crash that’s coming.
