Pros

I value the development opportunities that AXA offer. The benefits are fantastic and you really do feel part of the group.

Cons

As I work for AXA PPP, the main frustration is the lack of career development within my field. Also, PPP feels slightly different from the rest of the group in that there is no union and the pay isn't aligned with the rest of the group which when you live in an expensive part of the southeast, is painful. So pay and development at AXA PPP. If you don't like it, go to London. So we're told

Pros

Some great people in middle and lower management, clear direction of aims and objectives.

Cons

Too much effort defending the status quo. Skills needed to deliver Strategy not available. Business functions operate in silos and do not collaborate/work together - focus on department goals which are not aligned to the overall business goals.

Pros

Good training provided for new starters, good opportunity to apply for other internal roles, friendly management.

Cons

Sometimes appeared that you had to be 'in' with the management to move to more senior positions, who you know rather than what you know. Not much training to further career after starting with the company.
