Constant, disruptive change

Pros

Some incredibly dedicated and talented employees, opportunities to work in a very global arena with coworkers of all backgrounds. Substantial PTO. Opportunities to explore different areas within the company if you have the right connections.

Cons

Efficiency is the name of the game at AXA Assistance. Entire teams/departments offshored, numerous positions eliminated, new hires brought on to be dismissed months later. Constant, disruptive change is the norm here. Large-scale downsizing never seems to end. Wages well-below what the market suggests. A market study was conducted to expose huge gaps between market average and AXA's pay scale. The study was supposed to be a great leap forward in employer/employee transparency, but was later swept under the rug.

Pros

4 weeks of PTO per year, good flexibility to take time off.

Cons

Extremely stressful, short staffed. Not opportunities for growing, unless you know the right people.

Pros

-The people you work with make working there great -You do good things to people that are down on their luck while traveling and need someone level headed to help them out -You learn how to manage stress extremely effectively -You learn how to do a lot in the business world -Working here will make working anywhere else a "piece of cake"

Cons

-0 work life balance -Constantly being asked to do more with less, even when you are already operating on less -Salary is laughable compared to similar companies -CEO/Directors far to involved in day to day operation without a full understanding of what is actually going on -Superiors will constantly tell you the one thing you did wrong, not the 99 things you did right. They perseverate on that one thing that didn't go to plan and It will DEFINITELY come up in your review. However the things you did right and the money you made them will be forgotten -Incredible amount of outsourcing happening and being done horribly just to save money.
