Engineers working on operational level are top notch.

Cons

Majority of them quit or were let go due to incapable management and corpo leader crawlers. “AVL culture” is long gone

You get contracted out to a real OEM

Cons

No bonus, basic pension contribution, no funding for training, limited / slow career progression, low salary, they are heavily dependant on one customer. They originally gave a £300 Christmas voucher and a team building trip abroad, which to be honest everyone would have preferred to have a bonus. Now with harder times in automotive, they removed the voucher & trip.
