Good pay depending on job, horrible culture and leadership at the top

Pros

Pay is usually way above what one would find for office work elsewhere.

Cons

The hourly/salary pay traps you into your job and you will not make nearly as much when looking elsewhere. Most people are paid more than what they are worth elsewhere. Advancement (if any) is often based on favoritism, rather than actual performance. Working there was like a combination of "Office Space" and "Dilbert" put together. Most of the great benefits have dried up over the past 10 years and are now on par with any other large company. My pension was frozen the year after I started, while I got to see retiring employees leave with huge pensions.
