Pros

Met some amazing people (but could do that anywhere)

Cons

Worked for asda for 9 years and it has gone down hill FAST since EG take over Short staffed to the extreme 15 min break on a 6 hour shift barely enough time to eat Bonus has been taken away Some section leaders go on a power trip, dont listen to colleagues, do not cover shifts when people are off Store often left with only 2 female colleagues in the whole store of an evening Broken equipment, broken doors and broken heating In short unsafe environment, managers that dont care, section leaders on power trips, mental and physical health not taken seriously, benefits taken away, breaks reduced and expected to do the job of 3 people

Pros

Fun place to work, great colleagues. Hard at times

Cons

The demands on the individual - work load, flexibility of hours - are driven by many external factors as business attempts to deliver its vision
