Pros

- The team I worked with were mostly lovely people - There was always something to do, no pointless standing around

Cons

- There seems to be different standards of work throughout the whole store - Admin staff (located out-of-store in Leeds) are useless- I worked at ASDA for 6 weeks and never received a penny from them until after I left. I have been working elsewhere for nearly 3 weeks now and they still owe me over half of my pay, that's nearly 9 weeks of NO PAY - They are incredibly slow at getting you registered on the system and say there's nothing they can do about it- this means you will miss paydays and when they pay you there's a high chance you won't be paid correctly so make sure you track your own hours

Bullying managers

Pros

Discount card, great colleagues, made some good friends

Cons

Out of all the managers at my store only 3 were not bullies, complained to head office....nothing!. Asda doesnt take bullying seriously. We were also told too many people off with stress, this isnt an illness and they could lose there jobs. Loads of dodgy working practices that would harm the company if the press got wind of it
