Pros

Pay is okay Work with great people, if it wasn't for the people I wouldn't still be there Management are ok, some are easy to get along with but prone to power trips Shifts go in very quickly Lots of overtime Very flexible Can get a shift covered when you need it most of the time

Cons

Lack of communication from management People on back shift don't get included as much as people that work day shift Queue busting and q clarity is a stupid concept, I feel as if I'm getting into trouble whenever I get called to queue bust, if I go I'm letting my department down and section leaders are often angry at the fact I get left on a checkout for 1hr+ but if I don't go then it's unfair to checkouts as I am down as queue buster and it means those that do go to queue bust are kept on for longer than they need to be - it is a no win either way, if I go or if I don't someone isn't happy, I'm confused even though I'm just doing my job. Lack of training on checkouts, as I'm a queue buster I'm often left to figure out how to handle situations myself and kind of figure out things as I go along, I've been working in asda for 8 months and queue bust frequently and have only just figured out how to do a top up on checkouts ??!!! I work in grocery and still haven't been trained on how to use the guns, I know how to do basic things like check the price and print out a tag etc but have never received the training even though I have asked numerous times You don't get trained enough in asda you are just left to pick things up as you go along

Pros

Cons

Full of cliques Managers think they're better than the rest The money isn't worth the workload Money is all that matters Stupid work hours and shifts It's easy to be criticised by management when something goes wrong but when you do something right they look past it and don't thank you
