Pros

10% discount (isn't that much though); meet some great characters and make some good friends; during the week the store is not very busy so not much work to do although it can be boring and make the day longer

Cons

Poor management; sometimes treat like a child in school; younger people expected to do more work, especially if your a male; have to work a weekend day; the supervisors (section leaders) get paid 1.50 perhour more to delegate work and do nothing themselves; any ideas or helpful suggestions are shot down by 'know it all' managers who think everything they say is correct; if you do not have a degree you will be waiting years to advance no matter how good at your job you are; constantly micromanaged; monitored on breaks; poor health and safety - three cases of broken/fractured bones within the space of about 3 months
