Pros

Can fit your time table as shifts don't move. A decent wage for getting in the door. Lovely people to work with. Fits my lifestyle. Easy work to understand and fulfilling to some degree.

Cons

No one respects you. Even with a degree you're still talked to like someone's slave at some point. Shake ups in how the business is run is felt across the store. Constantly cutting hours ago they can run stores with smaller numbers but get more money for share holders. A lot of stress compared to a decade ago. Doubling of work load wouldn't be so bad if they doubled the wages. Managers don't care about you any more.
