Pros

Friendly staff. Options to gain overtime in any department. Good discounts across various brands and companies.

Cons

Managers throw their weight around a lot and tend to kick off and complain about things in the pharmacy that they don't understand. Keep trying to send home staff to save money despite it being unrealistic and risking patient safety to expect 1 dispenser to manage the counter and dispensary alone.

Pros

It is different for everyone. Depending on what department you working could have a big impact on your overall experience. I would say being a part-timer is a great benefit of working for Asda. Not everyone can work full time. Colleague discount is great as well.

Cons

All the good managers move on fairly quickly. I guess that's the case in most places. Good people always move onto greater things.
