Pros

1. Don't have any technical expertise and you plan to move into managerial or consulting work, then this is the place 2. Think a thousand times before you decide to join AIG Data Solutions

Cons

1. Worst work environment, the politics happens and can be seen right from top management to analyst level 2. You cant expect to get the best rating unless you are close to your directors and agree to all they say. They would push an individual to top rating even if he hasn't delivered on a project or have the technical expertise. That's the level of politics going on. 3. Your designation at AIG Data Solutions depends more on your years of experience and pay, rather than your performance and growth over years. People who were at developer role in their previous organizations with close to 10 years experience have been directly given out Manager level designations without even evaluating their people management skills 4. The US business partners treat the employees at India like slaves and show little respect for the work being done 5. Firing of employees has happened on a frequent basis with no intimation. The employees were not even given an opportunity to put forward their points 6. No learning and no training's provided for the laterals. No guidance from the managers as they lack technical experience in the field they have been assigned to manage 7. None would recommend the company to others due to all the reasons mentioned here, the reasons though have been discussed within the office for a long time has had no impact or decisions taken to resolve it
