Pros

Good entry point in start a career they are more often than not understandable that you are young. Some managers are tolerant of mistakes while others are not. Big company with many different groups. you if you don't like the industry you are in you can always change within the company. If you are lazy and not very bright its easy to get lost in the shuffle and you can continue to contribute minimal if not nothing to your job. It takes a long time to get fired with all the red tape it could take up to a year.

Cons

Very low pay when compared to the industry. Terrible benefits.

Pros

Hard working environment with very intelligent people. Great place to get started in the insurance industry. Management is very lenient about time off as long as you get the job done.

Cons

They do not pay well right out of college until you "put your time in." They are not very open about opportunities outside of your current environment and will certainly not hold you hand through the navigation process at this company. You either sink or swim which can be a great sense of accomplishment if that is your personality. If that is not your personality then do not come and work at this company.

Pros

There are many opportunities to experience many different situations and environments. You can really get a lot of variety of experience on the job if you look for it. Since there is so many products and businesses here, you often have the opportunity to work with people normally not in your field of interest. There is alot of good supporting departments such as research and other helpful internal departments to obain expert advise.

Cons

It is often a stressful environment. You usually face sink or swim situations. There is not a lot of mentoring. It is sometimes too big to make real relationships.
