Pros

Absolutely None... Company is Pathetic!!!!

Cons

Anyone considering employment opportunities, or doing business with this company, should consider serving a lengthy prison FIRST!!!! Doing so , makes all options equal!!! In short, they lie to employees by selling a dream of prosperity, professional growth, and opportunity. Once you get in the company, it is the complete opposite. Consumers of VALIC products are no different, VALIC coaches employees (TALKING POINTS!!!!) on how to deceive clients. A very reactionary company that has ZERO ability to progressively think! The culture of the company is very "Rank & File / Top Down". If by some act of congress you get promoted, it's through who's ass you kissed, and not your own merit! The pay rivals that of a family of 5 living under the poverty line! The turnover rate is... Here Today.... GONE 30 MINS later!!! This company is owned by AIG, NEED I SAY MORE!!! Their client based has the combined IQ of a box of rocks!!! Working for , or doing business with this company is nothing short of prostituting yourself!!!!!

Pros

Good amount of vacation days, if you don't use sick days

Cons

Over the last couple of years they have removed merit increases, decreased advancement opportunities, increased workloads and decreased health benefits, ultimately reducing employee pay further. Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians.

One of the most difficult environments to work in

Pros

Most people were very friendly, helpful and team oriented. Groups of people would contribute to meet deadlines and client needs without a thought, and would re-prioritize their own work load to help out.

Cons

Very, very over worked environment. Employees were expected to work long hours and take on huge work loads with tight deadlines. There was no additional compensation for the extra hours due to salary, and the new compensation structure with incentives was not nearly enough.
