      Great Learning, Poor work Life Balance and Management

      Pros

      good financial benefits but can not say anything better. One of the only few companies with pension plans, good 401K match, strong base salary and bonuses were good. If you want to make money in a very high stress environment go there but otherwise I would not suggest.

      Pros

      There is tremendous opportunity for those who are willing to do their best and contribute at a high level of performance. Employee benefits are very good and AIG has come back even stronger than before. Flat organization allows greater exposure of employees to senior leadership; low administrative overhead; productivity and delivery are what really count. Many work locations available which provides flexibility.

      Cons

      It is a large organization so when trying to work outside your immediate department things can take longer to complete. The company is still trying to centralize certain functions, roles and processes - until that is done it can sometimes be challenging to find out the standard way of accomplishing certain administrative tasks.
