Pros
Lots of energy and efforts are taking place in the employee engagement, productivity, and innovation areas. Very positive direction being set by senior leadership teams in connecting with employees and setting the tone for the future.
Cons
The shareholder pressure and goal of meeting the cost reduction targets are taking the toll retaining the talent within the company. A lot of time being spent in determining department level key priorities and aligning them with overall AIG strategy. There are lots of opportunity to shine or get recognized, however the fame is not getting converted into career upward mobility or monetary benefit.
