Pros
Excellent training and networking opportunities. When I was there, my building built a bank and had a medical center for employees plus family members. It made it easy to get appointments done for personal things like immunizations and banking needs. And they didn’t ding you if you made a medical appointment with the on site doctor/nurse, so you could get back to work right after your appointment.
Cons
Some departments needed to show more accountability. In other words, don’t try to sell a product/service if you don’t really know if the company is able to do it. Making sales it’s important, but keeping your promise is also necessary. And I disliked having clients who were promised the moons and stars by sales reps, just to be told the truth about what they really paid for. Thankfully with our training we were able to keep some of the clients but others wanted to leave.
