Pros

Great people and the company TRIES to make it employee-oriented.

Cons

As a new hire, ADP looks like a fairytale of a company to join. You get snacks at work, decent benefits and their marketing is fantastic at making them look like a modern and work-life balanced company. Plot twist: they aren’t. I worked here for a year and it was thankless work most of the time, training doesn’t prepare you as well as it should have and work life balance is nonexistent. Managers don’t seem to know how to properly track vacation balances and can be inaccessible. Management overall is a mess. They also said we’d get incentives for writing Glassdoor reviews last year and never followed through on the incentive. HUGE RED FLAG: When I left the company, I was expecting one last paycheck for a full period I worked. I did not get paid because they kept my paycheck to reconcile the upfront paycheck we all receive as new hires. Taking back the money is fine, the problem is that they did not disclose this to me and there is a very gray area in that regard. It’s shady and reflects poorly on the company and justifies my reasons for leaving. This was also done to others I know who left, not to mention one of my peers who was made to pay back vacation time that her manager said she had available and approved, but turned out to be wrong on the manager’s part.

Pros

When we had good upper ups managing- things were good.

Cons

When they got rid of “qualified” VP’s, directors, and managers to either early retirement and layoffs- things went down the hill.
