      Pros

      Friendly work environment. You learn a lot of new things about payroll. Hybrid, get to work from home 2 days a week. Little company events.

      Cons

      Very stressful. A lot to learn. You will never fully know the job. Take work home with you.

      It was a great experience to work for ADP.

      Cons

      The commute was getting too long in 2017. Remote was not an option, so resigned after 15 years.

      Pros

      Good training and support, as well as on-site amenities. You work have your teams, cohort, and managers to rely on for difficult issues, although not something you want to utilize each time.

      Cons

      You largely deal with issues that payroll professionals working on ADP for years are having trouble with. There are a couple platforms you work on and some system issues are quite complex. Trying to deal with these issues while doing so on a time clock was always tricky, as call-backs weren't loved. You start on a 8-4:30 schedule (maybe the first 6 mo) and shift to a 9-5:30 schedule until you hit a threshold of seniority. So with traffic before and after your work day looks like 8-7 at times.
