I loved almost everything about working at ADP....

Cons

Until I was laid off. That was unfortunate. I later found out that my director could have placed me in another role, but he didn't. I was also afforded little to absolutely no formal systems or procedural training. My boss was in another state and in the 18 months I worked there, saw him only 3 times.

Pros

High integrity of leaders. Continuous education in the human capital management field. Great work culture with people from diverse backgrounds. Excellent certification assistance and tuition assistance programs. Surveys of both clients and associates are taken seriously and acted upon.

Cons

East Coast is centralizing locations to Virginia and Florida so no longer a presence in many areas of the country. Raises have been minimal long past the 2008 economic downturn.

Very good pay but please have a degree or be prepared to stay in as a contract employee for a very long time.

Cons

I needed insurance asap but contract workers if no degree be prepared to work hard and you have to continually show your stuff constantly. Make sure to get in good with the folks you must know to move ahead. Just like anywhere else
