After meeting with the 6 people, the last guy who is the boss of those people, 1st asked me to rank them in order of best to worst; i.e. how would I rank them as candidates for a position. What he was getting at was my ability to assess interviewing capabilities which is part of the job I was interviewing for but it definitely threw me for a loop!!
Most questions were “behavioral questions”
How would you fill a hard to find Product Market Manager?
The interviewers were more interested in me and my experiences rather than set scripted questions. The interviews flowed naturally and the whole process was set at a perfect pace.
Why was I looking to leave my current role?
How do I prioritize what positions to fill first?
How would I handle Performance Management?
Why I wanted the job?
Unexpected.... I was asked "What annoys you?". How prophetic.
