Tell me about a time when you were speaking to an irate customer. How did you handle the situation and what was the outcome?
The "interviewer" asked me to explain a specific time when a computer system went down, and how I handled the customer. I explained what I usually do in general, but he required a specific customer at a specific time. All the questions wanted a single incident, and they seemed not to care at all about my overall philosophy concerning customer service and work ethic.
A separate and very brief French interview was done.
