The first stage was with the QA Manager.
- She asked mostly theoretical and conceptual questions related to testing and test framework.
- She was friendly and professional as she turned on the camera
- The interview went well and she invited me to the 2nd round of the interview.
2nd round -Technical Interview - [Unprofessional Guy-Now moved to DevOps]
- For this round, they give a take-home assessment where you have to automate an User Journey using Selenium Java and the interview will be conducted based on that.
- The interviewer was not professional at all as he did not turn on the camera which put me off, and he conducted the "Technical" interview very weird way.
- At first, he shared his screen and showed 4 analytical and quantitative reasoning questions, asked to choose answers, and state the reason behind it. Did well in this section.
- After that, he asked to write a program in Java named "3 consecutive stock day price". Was able to code successfully.
- Once it was done, he asked me to share the take-home test and ask 2 questions from it. One related to Assertion, and other use of Selenium wrapper method. He was quite arrogant and thinks only his way is the right way to code test framework.
No further question was asked.
