I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Workday (Vancouver, BC) in Sep 2021
Interview
Initial HR interview, then 4 meetings: 2 one-on-one behavioral interviews with managers, then an OOP panel interview, then a React live coding panel interview. My advice is not to be too creative in the interviews just do literally what is asked (from my feedback). They say they are an equal opportunity employer but I had 9 people interview me and only one was a woman. They use a proprietary 'language' where you code by clicking through drop-down menus. Seems like a bit of a career killer for engineers, probably fine if you hope to just do project management one day.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Behavioural: standard STAR questions, name the VIBE principles and core values.
OOP: design a rental car system - be aware of redundancies and use inheritance.
React: based on wireframe, design a user input component to populate a table with warning pop-ups for empty fields
It was very pleasant talking to the recruiter. they are very helpful. But during the first interview, the interviewer said that all the position is filled up so I don't know why would they schedule an interview so I would say that communication is not good.
