I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Workday (Boston, MA) in Oct 2018
Interview
Very basic common behavioral questions. Where do you see yourself in 5 years, what area I envisioned working in, etc. Come prepared knowing what area you have a preference for and why you would want to work there.
I applied online then had a 30 minute zoom interview with hiring manager. Pretty simple interview to see if you can handle both the technical and sales parts of consulting.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Workday (South Jordan, UT) in Dec 2019
Interview
I applied through their website and received an invitation to do a video interview. I was encouraged to contact the recruiter to learn more about the interview and process. I emailed her twice and she never replied.
When the interview came around, I wasn’t prepared for how casual it was. It was mainly a fit interview and the consultant I talked to didn’t seem to know what he was doing. I wasn’t sure what he was trying to get at when he asked most questions. Overall it was okay. I did not hear anything for a month, only to receive a cookie cutter email saying they’ve moved forward with other candidates.
As a HCM software company, this was really disappointing and unprofessional. I don’t think I will pursue other positions at Workday in the future.
