I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Torrance, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
You apply online. From there they will have to physically visit a Walgreens to take an assessment in the store. Once you pass the assessment they will ask you to come in for an interview. The interview was a simple 1:1 interview that consisted of common interview questions. I felt very comfortable in the interview as the assistant manager who conducted it was very friendly. How easy/comfortable the interview is all depends on the vibe the manager/assistant gives during the interview. Depending on the location you may interview with both the assistant manager and store manager.

The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Tampa, FL) in Mar 2016
Interview
Applied online. The manager called me two days after and asked me to take the assestment test at the store. I took the test on another store computer (it took me like 20 minutes) and then called him back to let him know. He interviewed me the next day, asked me 6 behavioral questions and talk to me about the process. After 30 minutes he called me back and offered me the job. Gave me the paper for the drug screening.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walgreens (Miami, FL) in May 2015
Interview
First you need to apply online. Then they require you to show up to a store and complete a second part of an application on one of the store computers. Once that is done, one of the managers will decide whether they want to consider you for the job. If they do, they will run a background check. Once that is all clear, they bring you in for an interview with the store manager. You'll find out if you're hired by that point.
