I applied online. I interviewed at Walgreens (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2015
Interview
First of all, it was challenging to get on the phone with HR representative after she left me the voice message and it took few days to get a hold of her. Secondly, I found rude the way she was talking to me. During the initial interview she was pushing for answers she wanted to hear constantly rewording my words. This made me repeat my answers several times to make sure she got MY answers not her. Overall very discouraging experience that made me rethink to even work for a company where the first interview is so unprofessional and rude.

I applied online. I interviewed at Walgreens (Deerfield, IL) in Aug 2015
Interview
The recruiter did seem all interested in doing the phone screening. I could tell the person didn't even look at my resume; not prepared. Told me to give them a minute; I believe they were trying to read my resume to continue the process. Also didn't even call me by my first name; used my middle name instead. Also it seemed a bit discouraging when your told before the interview began, "did you look at all IT jobs. May be a better fit but lets continue with the screening anyway. Not very professional but was good practice. I knew I was going to get the traditional email before the screening was done that they were going to seek other candidates. I just wanted the phone screening to end and at one time wanted to tell the person let's not continue but decided to get the practice.
