I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Vodafone in Feb 2020
Interview
There were seven videotaped questions that gave you one minute to think and three minutes to answer (capture camera) and then asked you to play two games for a few minutes.

Question 1
Describe a situation in which you had conflicting views and you had to make a decision quickly. Describe your situation, your actions and the outcome.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Vodafone (Newbury, England) in Dec 2019
Interview
Begun with standard application, then a HireVue video interview with two games that you play at the end of it. I was given an invitation to the assessment centre within a week of the interview.
Assessment centre was pretty laidback and consisted of a group exercise, an individual presentation, and a competency-based interview. Lunch was provided and travel is reimbursed if you live a certain distance away from Newbury. There was also a tour and lots of opportunities for breaks. The staff were friendly although the interview did focus strongly on past experiences with group work which many people doing CompSci degrees at least will not have had much experience with.
Overall had quite a good time and was a pretty nice day, I wasn't given an offer but was waitlisted and I really appreciated the speedy response from Vodafone's part. The campus was amazing and I felt more like I was in Silicon Valley than a small town west of Reading. Try to be yourself as it was blindingly obvious who just went on Glassdoor before and copied what everyone else did, speak up a bit and you should have a good chance.
