Tripadvisor Intern interview questions

Got the interview through campus career fair. The interview lasted for about 45 minutes with a short description of the position and the interviewer asking me which languages I was familiar with. Then they asked me a programming question that I described my solution for and was then asked to write code for on paper. Time was running short so the interviewer cut me off politely and asked me a spin-off question. A week later, I got an email with a programming challenge that I was to complete in 48 hours. I did the challenge but got a rejection email a week later.
