I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TransUnion (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2015
Interview
Supposed to interview with two people. The first being the hiring mgr. That one didn't go well because they expected experience which everyone knew I didn't have. There was a substitution of the second, which turned out to be a good conversation. Very surprised I wasn't asked to join after speaking with that person.
I initially applied on LinkedIn. I was then contacted by the HR department. I had a phone screening asking various questions about my background. I was later contacted again to set up my onsite interview. I met with a manager and then a department head. I was later contacted for a second onsite interview with a senior team member.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at TransUnion (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2013
Interview
90% phone interviews. Talked with 6 people in addition to HR. HR recruiters were disorganized but very friendly. Job title changed with offer letter - was different than what was posted as job title.
