I applied online and was contacted by a Cigna recruiter within about a week. He was very loud and brash, asked a few questions, then scheduled a second phone interview...with him. After the second interview I received instructions to go interview at Cigna's Lakeline location in Austin. Initially, two call center supervisors met with me and asked basic questions, then I was passed along to two more supervisors. A few days later, I was offered the job. Cigna uses a third party background verification company, so they look at criminal history and job history (they don't check credit for this position). There is a drug screening and also a nicotine screening. If you use nicotine, you have to agree that you are "trying to quit" to be approved for hire. After that was completed, I was emailed quite a bit of information and given a training class start date.
